(My camera passed away this week, so there won't be any pictures in my blogs for a while.)
"Vac, vac, vac, vac, vac." This, my friends, is Ricky's "Vac Song". He loves the vacuum and loves when I use it. He loves to plug in the vacuum for me and then follow me around with his toy vacuum while I go around the house. As soon as I turn the vacuum off (even if I'm just taking a break to pick up something from the floor) he drops whatever he's doing and empties the canister into the trash for me. He even digs his little hands up into the filter to pull down any dirt that gets trapped up there. He's such a sweet little helper.
The "Vac Song" is something he sings to me at least once or twice a day in order to convince me to vacuum. Usually it works, it's hard to say "no" to such a cute whiny little song. Especially since he does like 70% of the work. All I have to do is turn the thing on and push it around. Kiddo does the rest.
I imagine that all kids have their "thing" that they do. You know, that "thing" that no other kid probably does, or at least not in the same way as yours. What does your kid do that's special?
