I am the money-saving queen (today)

Anyone ever use Shutterfly.com?  (If not, do it.)

Anyone ever use MyCokeRewards.com?  (If not, do it- or offer your codes to me.  hehe.)  The codes come from any coke brand beverage, including Dasani water and Powerade.  There's a complete list of the different products on the the website.  Every bottle (if it didn't come in a pack) has a code on the lid for 3 points, every 12 pack has a 10 point code, and every 24 pack has a 20 point code.

Eric recently obtained 1,000 coke reward points from his job because a coke guy came in to inspect their coke machines or something.  It's usually super time consuming to get that many, but he was lucky.  Being the generous hubby he is, he decided to give me all the points.  You can use the points on a HUGE array of different things, but I decided to use them to get a bunch of photo books of our family from Shutterfly.com.  I'm the hugest nerd about my family.

Shutterfly always has a lot of promotions going on.  One promotion going on currently is (if you enter this code on the website:  C8CG-8K1Z) you will get a free 8x8 hard-cover photo book.  That offer expires on August 30.  You'll need to pay shipping, but it's a great deal.  However, you'll get free shipping on any orders $30 or above if you order before 8/22.

So between all the promos I'm getting from Shutterfly right now (some of which I didn't list), and all the Coke Reward Points I've gotten I am getting:

1 8x11 20 page photo book about Eric and I  (All the books are hard-cover, too!)
1 8x11 26 page photo book about Ricky  (You pay $1 extra for each page over 20.)
1 8x11 20 page photo book about Owen
1 8x11 30 page photo book about our whole family
1 8x8 22 page photo book about the trips Eric and I have taken
4 photo magnets, all with a different photo from one of our trips
1 personalized water bottle with pictures of our family
1 5X7 print
1 4X6 print

The water bottle and the prints are the only things I'm paying for other than the extra pages on the books, because everything else was free with the Coke points and the Shutterfly's promo codes.  The reason I added the water bottle and prints to my order is that they jacked the (before shipping) price up to $30 so it totally eliminated the cost of shipping on my entire order!  And let me tell you, it costs a boat load to ship all of those things.

Would you like to know my grand total for all of those things?  Why sure, I'll tell you.  It's: $31.83
Would you like to know how much money I saved?  245.21
That means that I'm getting like $277 worth of goodies for $31.

In case you're thinking about checking out Shutterfly.com for their photobooks, I'll put a link on each of my books on the list so you can see what they (can) look like.  You'll be able to personalize yours to be exactly what you want.  After you click the link, click "view photo book." and then it will load up.

  1. Okay that is totally 100% awesome! And yes I love shutterfly. I just made a photobook with the pictures from our family reunion this summer and made one for each family. I had 50% off and free shipping- but yea you totally scored.
