New Yarn

Hubby's step-mom sent me a link to this charity.  I may make some baby hats to send to it- it's a great cause!

I'm not actively working on any projects right now.  I need to get in gear, especially with my mystery project!  I got a few new yarns yesterday that are really pretty, but they are really thin.  I think they'd look very pretty in a hat (not all together of course), but I'm not sure they'd be very warm because they aren't very thick.  Then again, 2 of them have some wool in them, and isn't wool supposed to be a great insulator?  Maybe I could make crochet hats with them since crochet stitches tend to be thicker than knit stitches.  Or I could make a scarf.  It would take a long time to make a scarf with such skinny yarn but it would be the softest scarf ever!
