It's the Little Things in Life.

My little man.  Just the simplest little things make me fall in love with him all over again.

He has a 4 pound container of animal crackers, thanks to the generosity of his grandparents who gifted them to us.  Usually he just eats them out of the container, but today I had his little snack bowl laying out and he found it.  Without any urging or inspiration from me, he filled his snack bowl to the brim with animal crackers so he could walk around the house while enjoying his snack.  And then he melted my heart by coming over to me and offering me an animal cracker.  He placed it into my mouth and smiled at me.  And then he offered me another.

This kid will be the death of me.  One day when I look into his innocent little face, my heart will surely explode from his cuteness.

It's amazing to see him doing such simple things so independently.  Just a few months ago, no more than 3 or 4 months ago, he could hardly ever carry around his bowl of snacks without spilling most of them on the floor.  Now he's filling it up and using it all by himself like a big kid!
